Location: Brightmont Academy
Date: Held once each month! (see our linked school calendar for specific dates)
Time: Doors open at 6:30 PM | Performances begin at 6:50 PM
Admission: Free for all students and staff
Student Participation
Students interested in performing should complete the monthly sign-up form by the posted deadline.
Performance Guidelines
To help ensure a positive experience for everyone, performances should:
Be school-appropriate in language, content, and attire
Last no longer than 10 minutes
Be respectful of all students, staff, and audience members
Be prepared and rehearsed in advance
Use approved backing tracks or instruments
Please note: Students may perform individually or as part of a group.
About the Event:
Our Monthly Open Mic Night is a fun and welcoming opportunity for students and teachers to share their talents with the school community. Participants may perform music, poetry, comedy, storytelling, spoken word, dance, or other school-appropriate acts in a supportive environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and community connection.
Supervision & Safety
School staff members will supervise the event during the evening.
Please note:
Students should remain inside the event area unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Parents/guardians are responsible for transportation to and from the event.
Students leaving early should check out with a supervising adult.
